Once upon a time, in a skating rink far, far away (because, aren't they all?) there was a girl. Two of them, actually. One might have called them ladies, but they would have been mistaken, for there was very little that could be considered strictly "ladylike" about what brought them to this strobe-lit savannah that smelled of floor varnish and birthday parties. They had come to skate hard, get low, and turn left- to be part of the counterclockwise revolution known as roller derby. And so the adventure begins....
